Indonesian Government saved two primate baby orangutans from illegal smuggling at Kuwait International Airport last September. One of the babies aged 2 years.
Nico Hermanu, Public Affairs of Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation – BOS, highly appreciated to cooperation between the Directorate Natural Resources Conservation and Ecosystem of Ministry of Environment and Forestry, the Indonesian Embassy in Kuwait and BOSF.
Certainly, BOSF was waiting for the results of DNA to preserve those baby orangutans back to its rehabilitation center. There are three locations rehabilitation centers has been pointed: Samboja East Kalimantan, Nyaru Menteng Central Kalimantan, or OCSP (orangutan conservation service program) Sumatera.
